    If you truly wan to get close, get as close as you can to the original ingredients: British 2-row pale, either Golden Promise or Marris Otter, and what BushDoctor recommends, crystal 60 & 120 and light on the chocolate, 2%? Which is maybe a half a cup? And stay with E. Kent Goldings, stay away from the resiny American C-hops. Never tried Safale, i would go liquid Wyeast or White Labs Scotish yeast.

    I appreciate everyone's help and input so far. I Brewed the above recipe yesterday, and my OG was 1.080... I used the "Gatorade cooler" mashing method, and the temperature was hovering around 145 F most of the time. I added hotter water to the mash to try to bring it up, without too much success. My second runnings (mashed for only 5 min) was around 152-4 F....
