I need to check this place out again. I liked it when I was there, but it was kind of picked over that day, plus I usually wind up going to Selkirk Abbey when in N. Idaho, which leaves precious little drinking room for much else. http://www.spokane7.com/blog/2015/oct/14/clean-slate-wednesdays/
I've been a regular at Slate Creek since it opened. Nothing spectacular but the "6 weight" IPA (which is more like an APA) can be good especially if fresh. I've had the weiss/grape brew and it's enjoyable (very light bodied) but not my pick. You don't have to be there Wed @ 8 to get the new releases. A Thursday, and even later, visit can get the latest brew release. I finally got a beer I liked @ Trickster's. Their Mosaic Limelight fresh hop IPA (although a bit thin) is very good and on tap now. Very fresh too. If you're in Cd'A soon I'd recommend their Mosaic IPA over anything at Slate Creek.
They must have been teetering on the edge of being tasty if you are not going to be a regular over a 50 cent price increase...
