Draw a line, I don't know 2 years ago or so, and everything Otter Creek has made they've been knocking it out of the park.

If they were a new brewery, no one would stop talking about them, they'd be the latest and greatest beer geek darling. I think too many people overlook them as "old & solid"

I had the RIS last night and I thought it was really good. Another good one from OC to go along with Kind Ryed and Citra Mantra for me. Both of which I enjoyed, especially Citra Mantra.

I just read they are putting out some kind of wheat beer with citra , a couple other hops and tangerine juice. Should be a nice summer drinker

Otter Creek is coming out with new summer seasonal in 12 oz and cans called Fresh Slice White IPA. More info at http://www.vtbeer.org/2014/03/03/ot...ounces-summer-seasonal-fresh-slice-white-ipa/

They are using 2-row, wheat, flaked oats and apollo, citra, and cascade hops with sweet orange peel, coriander, and clementine juice.

I've been buying more OC offerings than I have in years, especially Citra Mantra and Kind Ryed. Just barely got through another mixed 12 pack.

LT's Limbo IPA is excellent as well, if a little too expensive for my tastes.

Agree with most comments above; OC have really stepped it up. Mike G. is a super nice guy as well as a stellar brewer; glad to see that he will be getting some much deserved recognition.

I was at Julios tonite & was checking out the OC linup, how is that new pale IPA of theirs? I wish I grabbed a single to try it...

Do they have a year round single and double IPA?...didnt see any, just black IPA

No. Here's their current year round lineup:
    - Copper Ale
    - Black IPA
    - Hop Session Ale

The Hop Session Ale is sorta a "session IPA" or whatever the new category/style name is for that. It tastes pretty good, low ABV, and very hoppy. To me, the Hop Session is a great lawn-mower beer, especially in the hot, humid summer for hopheads like myself. I still prefer Brewmaster Mike's seasonals over the Hop Session, but it's pretty good for price/availability.

Is that a new batch of the RIS? Or last year's?

I don't like their water and it comes thru in their beer. Why was double dose so good? Coz the water wasn't from Otter Creek, right?
That said, they are definitely amping up their quality w/ the brewmaster mike stuff, although Citra mantra can't touch Hop.Union IMO. Kind Ryed was great.

Wasn't stovepipe a similar favor profile to nosedive?

I didn't think OC RIS was that hard to get.
