Sloop Brewing The Sauer Peach in cans

Wish I had regular access to these guys - hopefully they start distributing.

Can anyone confirm that they are moving to East Fishkill?

 

I just read something regarding this...they're brewing operations will be moving to the old IBM campus in East Fishkill, as well as opening a taproom. They will keep the place in Elizaville.

that beer looks brown, not exactly evoking "light, soft, and refreshing".

 

I wish these guys had some distro...

 

Inst pics aren’t their forte + Sloop doesn’t often strive for creamy-sludge: there’s a bit of class in their IPA’s (malt/bitterness/balancing)



Although, haven’t had this one yet –

 

yeah dont get me wrong, i like what ive had from sloop. but that just looks like a homebrewed mess that will completely fall off in a week. untappd also has a lot of murky/brown pics.



looks like they had to change the recipe bc this is the same named beer from less than a year ago

They usually sell out day of.

And I can't speak to the beer in that pic, but their IPAs the last 6-8 months have been world class. Down Under Bomb, DDH Simcoe Bomb, Liquid Sorcery, Pixie Dust and Doubleplusgood Citra/Galaxy all rival anything of that style coming out of NY right now.

Thanks! Only intended to pick up a growler, but if I can come away with some cans too that would be swell.

 

I was lucky enough to scoop some cans of Galaxy Bomb (delicious!) a couple Saturdays ago but likely the exception vs. the rule. Growlers are always good, and Suarez will have you covered with some bottles for the road if you're in the neighborhood.

 

Nelson Bomb was also amazing.
