Second box of goodies hopping on a plane to my house today.

If anyone thinks my targets are only getting local fare...you're very mistaken.

 

Yeah they definitely went hard on barrel character on that one. I was pretty excited to try it a year and a half ago and it was like a mouthfull of gasoline. I was definitely curious if it had mellowed since then which it sounds like it must have done. Just picked up a couple bottles of Snorkel at JK this weekend myself. That's two pretty unusual and interesting beers, thanks for the reviews!

 

Yeah you did the right thing, Prairie fans need to experience their odd and experimental stuff for sure. My favorite Prairie beer remains Falcon Punch. I probably wouldn't even like it that much now but I had on my first visit and fucking loved it at the time.

 

In eager anticipation of getting my target in the next day or two I'm heading over to Sand City to get some goodies and then the Root+Branch release. Shame they are only releasing one beer today.

 

Nice. Sand City is great and I’ve heard great things about R&B.

 

Same here.....dang work office internet and their "Rules"......I want to see some beer!!!!....hahahah

 

I've only had a couple from them and they were excellent. I searched for their beers for about a year before I finally gave up and waited on line at a release. I can't wait until their brewery/tasting room finally opens.

 

Yeah, I'll have to plan a trip to my in laws when the new spot opens!

I'm going to run to Pantown to try their Oktoberfest tonight, and get more ammo to send out.

Hopefully my targets will like what I send. Plus, more reviews is a good thing. Only one of their beers has 2 reviews.

 

I got home from work today to unwrap the flat rate @jhavs was going to send of some "shelf" Hill Farmstead beers. I am not sure he lived up to his end since this is way more than expected. Thanks Jon this is super generous and I cannot wait to dive in.

I went with the Convivial Suarez out of the current bottle options because it looked like it would be new to you. The GoM should be really enjoyable. One of their better BA brews that sometimes gets overlooked.
