Hi there! I'm a generally new brewer. I just brewed an all grain pumpkin ale based on beer advocate's suggestion.

It's been in primary for two weeks today. The krausen is still on top and the blowoff tube is still bubbling. I've done two gravity checks a few days apart and the gravity is still the same. OG was 1.046 and currently it's at 1.026.

As my apartment is eternally in the upper 70s, low 80s, I have the carboy in a chest freezer with a temperature controller. The probe is in a glass of water next to the carboy. The Inland Island yeast I pitched suggests a range of 68-74 degrees. It never leaves that range.

I'm confused. I should probably just relax, don't worry and have a homebrew. But I don't have any homebrew to drink...

Thanks in advance for any advice!!!

How long has it been fermenting? If you still have bubbling and krausen then I'd let it be. That's a pretty good sign the yeast is still working so relax for a couple more days than check your gravity again. Nothing you can do to make yeast operate on our calendar!
