I brewed a Hefeweizen this weekend as well as an IPA. The IPA started bubbling the airlock within a few hours. Not so with the hefeweizen this is day two and I am starting to see some activity on the surface of the wort. there is a thin layer of krausen, forgive my spelling if it is incorrect, but it seems to be moving much slower than all the other batches I have brewed. With that said I have only brewed a few. If it does not pick up does anyone have any pointers on how to get it rolling. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I presume you used different yeasts, so they will usually act differently to get started. If you're seeing some beginning activity in the hefe, I'll predict that you'll see full blown fermentation tomorrow. Relax and do what Vikeman says. You beer will be fine.
Some information that we would need in order to help, rather than just guess: what yeast did you use? What was the manufacturing date of the yeast? How much yeast did you pitch? Did you make a starter? If so, what size? What was the size of the batch, 5 gallons? Wort original gravity? Temperature you pitched the yeast?
A krausen and activity at day 2 is not a bad sign at all. Its probably fine, wait a couple more days or even a week and check gravity. Lots of people panic early if they dont see roaring fermentation. More info, like recipe, process, yeast strain and temp would really really help us know of something up. A pic of the krausen would be nice too.
I wouldn't stress. If you want to see activity sooner, then try a yeast starter on the next batch. It will get it moving along within hours.
