What would cause year old stouts to have some kind of floating sludge loogies upon pouring into a glass? I've had this 3 times now, and I don't know what would cause it/how to stop it. I have just picked them out and the beers have tasted fine. All were from the beer fridge. Probably a year on each of them. Twice with Founders Imperial Stout Again last night with a LH Wake up Dead. Thoughts?
What is the temperature of your cellar ?, I have never had a problem with Founders Imperial Stout - have never aged Wake Up Dead
