Which one? They make quite a few. The one I had, Phoenix Pale was damn good.

I've been thinking about picking up a case for tailgating. I hear its pretty damn good especially for the price.

A quality beer for sure. If you get it for $30/case then, hell yes, it's also a great buy.

But, is it surreal ? Probably not- but, hey, you can't have everything .

(btw- Sly Fox's Route 113 IPA is outstanding, a singular American/English style hybrid. And damnded quaffable to boot.)

I've yet to find a Sly Fox beer I thought was excellent. Hate to be Darryl Downer, but it is the truth. But under 30.00 a case? If it was that price here I would buy a few cases of Route 113 for sure.

The price is the clue. Phoenix Pale Ale is the one they can and distribute. In PA a case will run you something under $30.

I think the pilsener is legit. And their Belgian 750's aren't half bad.

Yeah, it's definitely a good pale ale for the price. I'd stop short of calling it great, but it's still very tasty, and was a standard when I wanted something good in a can.

I've had a few at CBP when in watching Phillies games. Good stuff and solid, if unspectacular. I'd rather pay more for better than look for value pricing.

It's a solid brew, and most of their stuff is a good buy IMO. I like the cans too, and they come in handy when needed.

It's not the best pale ale, but it's local (for me), canned, cheap, approachable for non-craft drinkers, and very easy to drink. I also like the Rt 113 IPA but the bitterness and higher ABV make it difficult for extended drinking sessions. It's almost always my tailgate beer of choice.

Sly Fox makes several well crafted and reasonably priced beers. I enjoy Phoenix Pale Ale but Route 113 is my favorite...great tailgating beer. Also read they are going to can their Christmas Ale this year which I'm looking forward to.

I also saw they're going to be canning Odyssey, which is even better than 113. Can't wait for that to start showing up.

They do brew some other one off pale ales, but nothing that they can or distribute widely. My favorite was their Citra Pale Ale that I had a keg of 2 years ago. Tremendous beer, way better than Phoenix Pale.

Yup, I'm really excited about this. I love Odyssey, and Odyssey in cans will be awesome.

I can take or leave IPAs in general, but I had Rt. 113 for the first time the other day and it was pretty good! I have heard a few people describe it as a hybrid between an American and an English IPA, and I'd say that would be a pretty good description.

And I know a lot can go into this rating but it is interesting to see Rt. 113 rated by Sly Fox 113 IBUs but Odyssey is rated at 90...I am looking forward to trying it.

I also recommend their Dunkel for Lager fans!

Surprisingly, I have never been to their Brewhouse & Eatery even though I really don't live that far away...I must change this soon! :-)

Definitely a huge fan of Slyfox. Btw, they can and distribute more than just the phoenix PA. I've seen 113, Pikeland pils, and their lager for under $30 a case.
