Agreed, though the one I just opened had plenty of carb. Delicious stuff.

True - but it's on my way home so I had to try. I find more things at the Cinco Ranch Specs - like the case of 120 sitting on the shelf a few months ago.

Well I finally opened a bottle of Batch #3, and as soon as I smelled the sour grape smell I knew it wasnt good. Took a few drinks, and sure enough its on it way to becoming infected/sour. I didnt get of that any "butter" taste that some were talking about...

Still fairly drinkable though, but I was really hoping for good things on this one...

I still have a few more bottles, so im gonna open another one tomorrow to see how it is...

I just hope the whole foods opening up on fry has a somewhat knowledgeable beer person working for those days I can't make it to D&Q.

Has any of the Clear Lake guys seen Batch #4 around much? I get home late this week and want to pick some up if it is still available. I'm willing to drive into Houston if I need to but if I can get it in Clear Lake I would much rather do that. I know I saw Batch #2 around for a while.

Did you drink another? I opened up a #3 Saturday night and I don't think I got through 3oz before I was going to drain pour. Thankfully my wife really liked it, I hate using beer as drain-o.

It was aged in wine barrels. Hence the more sour dry taste. I really liked that about this beer and I don't even like wine.

Picked up #4 at CM Westgate for $7.99. It's up at the beer counter.

Drinking #3 now. Definitely some Brett there. Not as much Brett as #1 though. I just wonder if its intentional? And if not, what's going to happen with #4? I still liked all of them but I don't think Brett would do #4 any favors. Which sucks because 4 is really good right now.
