The (mostly mid sized) breweries who are part of this or formed this group say that the Small Brewers Duty Relief gives small/micro breweries an unfair advantage.

My opinion is they want to eliminate those small/microbreweries because their real advantage is that free from corporate & accountancy restraints, they have a superior product & far greater range of styles.

This is only my opinion, but I see the SBDRC as a movement based on greed and therefore will not be purchasing their members ware. In order to maintain a certain degree of impartiality I won’t be naming or shaming the breweries involved, or asking others here to join my boycotting but I would ask that you research & educate yourselves on this matter.

I've been spending a couple of hours reading up on all of this and yes, this is greed trough and through. It's disheartening to see a few breweries that I really like, like Timothy Taylor's, support this blatant attempt to get rid of competition. Makes me want to buy even more products from Cloudwater, Northern Monk, Deya, Wylam and the like.
