Saw an event for last Sunday @ 7 for a share, wondering if anyone from here went. Wanted to make it but had to work, it looks like its gonna be a weekly thing so I was planning on going this Sunday. Just thought I'd share since it didn't seem like anyone ever found a new spot after C&G.
Facebook, don't know what kind of turnout it got but hoping even if its not weekly they can do once a month.
Indytruks, it's called small brewpub. Opened up a few months ago in oak cliff, I suppose I should clarify this is in dfw.
Well this is the most confusing thread ever. Would be helpful if you capitalized their name like a proper noun.
Bumping this since it got a little side tracked. I've never been there so I don't know exactly what to expect but its from 6:30-8:30 with about 10 people going so far. Address: Small Brewpub. 333 West Jefferson Blvd Dallas, Texas 75208
Full disclosure: I'm one of the investors in the small brewpub named Small Brewpub. Appreciate the interest expressed in the thread. Went yesterday for the first time to speak with Joshua Dawn about what to share with BAs on his FB invite. Essentially, it's a casual open invitation for anyone to come share or swap Sunday evenings. Homebrews are welcomed too like the ethereal Black Man Brew Straight Lambic Batch 4.0 featuring a balanced array of electric complexities that popped on the palate throughout the glass. There will be glassware. Anyone choosing to participate is invited to share amongst themselves, find others with whom they'd like to share, or keep the bounty for another day. It's your beer. We have food and I'll refrain from extolling the virtues as I'm bias. You can read unbiased reviews regarding via Dallas Eater, Observer, DMN, and Side Dish. The room and bench seating can be very tight during prime dining hours, so a situation could occur where the staff might ask a tasting group to help the brewpub accommodate additional diners. We champion the virtue of respectfulness. Josh, myself, and the Small Brewpub fam look forward to meeting each BA that comes to visit whether it be for a Sunday share or any other time. Given the recent chatter on whale hunting, think it's pertinent to temper expectations that no whales have been shared by attendees or staff.
