Does anyone know where I could find a small (ideally 2.5gal to 5gal but if I have to buy a 10 I will) new as in unused French Oak Barrel?

Midwest barrel company. I bought one from then new and it sealed up good. Also Adventures in Homebrewing just sent an email out saying they have fresh dumped barrels too.

Using barrels for Homebrew size batches is really tough. The surface to volume ratio isn’t in your favor and you can extract so much wood character in a very short period of time which really negates the reason for using a barrel, especially a non spirit barrel.
