I was just checking my old home area newspaper, and one of the lead stories was about small scale malting for craft brewing. IIRC, there are plans for a regional malter down in Skagit county, just South of me. I like the BSA Harvest/Valley Malt BSA Notch Brewing's put out over the past couple of years. I like the idea of a Massachusetts terroir (however ill-equipped I am to make such distinctions), and I like the Valley Malt story too. I hope they keep it going. http://valleymalt.com/
