Smoking in your bar?

Much to the consternation of my Mother-In-Law...there is no smoking anywhere in my house.

 

That's what the yard is for. And while you are headed out there, be a sport and bring the dog.

 

It's part of the house, so no.

 

Only for medicinal purposes!

 

I try to make it as much like the bars I enjoyed in elementary school. Cheap, smoky, and if the bartender doesn't know you, you're probably in the wrong place, oh, and there's a live-in cat.

 

When I originally built my bar, I had visions of a VFW theme. I actually considered faking cigarette burns on the bar top. Thank God my wife was there to stop me!

Cigars on the back patio, which in my case, is right outside the home bar. No smoking inside.

 

It's cold as shit here in MI but i'd have to agree with just taking it outside

My taproom is in the back corner of the house. I do smoke cigars in there but I close the door and I have an exhaust fan in the window.
