    Smuttynose is taking over the taps at Novare Res in Portland today from noon-1am. 25 drafts and 2 casks. Fun, Treats, beer, and shenanigans. Who's going?

    This is the one Smuttynose event that I've always wanted to attend- it always sounds like a great time, the lists are forever fantastic, Novare Res is amazing. So jealous of everyone who's attended.

    Thoughts on the '04 Barleywine and how it's holding up? We got to try an '07 Wheatwine and Short Batch #1: The Gnome (also 2007) during a Smutty event during DC Beer Week and they were both drinking gorgeously. The Wheatwine, in particular, was out-of-this-world amazeballs.

    That's it. I think we need to start planning a trip to coincide with Smuttfest 2014 now.
