Which would be helpful if any of those breweries made a Baltic Porter as good as Smutty's . . .

Still waiting for the latest batch of Baltic to hit the shelves here.

Wondering where the damn Noonan Black I.P.A. is as well!

Love me some goodies outta the old shire!

    Cheers All.......

Smuttynose is kind of like Lagunitas–reliably good and relatively cheap. I think Baltic Porter is my favorite Smutty beer, but they have many excellent beers in their lineup. I owe them some revisiting after having been on a Founders, Stone, Firestone, and Bruery kick lately.

Smutty Nose Baltic Porter is undoubtedly the best Baltic porter I've tasted. It's balanced, roasty, and has a fantastic finish. The flavor seems to "hang" on the tongue long after the initial sip. I wish I could give a better description, it has a certain WOW factor that a few beers possess. I can't explain what makes it so great, but in the words of former Justice Stewart, "I know it when I see it."

Try some Sinebrychoff. Comparitively I find Smutty's version one dimensional and too sweet - like most US attempts I've tried.

Just cracked a 2013 and this beer never fails to amaze - so tasty. I got one to cellar as well. Should have got a case.

Smuttynose Baltic Porter is always dangerously drinkable.
