Smuttynose Vunderbar in the DMV

    Any sightings yet? I thought this was going to make it to DC, but I still haven't seen any bottles. Anyone with any information want to chime in?

    No one? I know this isn't barrel aged with Brett, but surely I'm not the only one who is hoping that Smuttynose plan to make amends for retiring their Portsmouth Lager by brewing a kickass pilsner?

    When I found out the news that Vunderbar wouldn't be coming to CT....:slight_frown:, I remember seeing DC included in the list of markets that would see this brew.As to why you haven't?I cannot tell ya.I had to pick some up while I was in NH. for my fix.I miss Portsmouth Lager too !!

    Do you happen to have a link for that or know if Philly was on the list? According to our tap finder sites it's not here now. I looked on Smutty's site, but can't find anything about Vunderbar outside of it being at some events.

    Sorry,I don't have a link.Not sure there is one but anyway, I actually heard this from a smuttynose rep. at a meet and greet here in CT a few months ago.During some awesome beer conversation,I found out that these markets were getting the 4pks. of vunderbar:MA.,NH.,DC. and I think it was maybe one more....IL. or OH.?I am kinda shocked that Philly hasn't gotten any yet, if at all.
