Smuttynose Wheatwine aged in Utopia Barrels

    I had the pleasure of drinking this at Meadhall in Cambridge MA the other day and let me tip my hats to smutty, this was one of the best damn beers ive ever drank in my life. Keep it up guys!

    Interesting, is this only on tap ? Or is this something they plan on bottling ?

    I think that is one of their short batch series that are only available on tap. Sounds great though. I think their wheatwine is underrated.

    Yeah, I've had it from the bottle and on tap. It's superb.

    That sounds great. Last year I had their Baltic Porter aged in Utopias barrels and it was amazing.

    I didn't even see this in the FOBAB program until a couple days afterward, wish I had tasted it when I had the chance.

    I was there as well, and I agree: one of the best beers I've ever had. It was so decadent without being cloying, assertive without being boozy, and truly beautiful to look at. I love Smutty, but they really outdid themselves here. It also tasted very little like the base beer, which I do like.
