Hello all! Just got back from SN Brewery and they now have high quality prints of Hoptimum by Nate Duval, famed poster artist. They are beautiful and brightly colored, and a run of 300...and only $15!. See below:

Also, much brighter and vibrant than the pictures suggest!

Yeah, if I could grab one for $15 i would... love what Nate did, but couldn't spend the $40... if someone going to the brewery could grab me one i would appreciate it.

One thing, they specifically asked me not to roll it up, which I thought that was weird.

Rolling it up allows runs the risk of creating a crease in the paper...and since paper has memory it will be a crease that you can not get rid of; unless of course you have it dry mounted which then ruins any value to it. Rolling a poster = bad

[IMG][IMG]I got a couple of Sierra posters from a beer dinner about 6 months ago. I loved them so much I framed them.

It's possible to roll a poster without creasing it. How do you think they send you prints in the mail?

Exactly! I'm familiar with art prints, that's why I thought it was weird that they told me not to roll it!

Well obviously its possible, I did not say it was impossible to roll a poster without creasing it. I have worked in an art framing store for the past 6 years, and you wouldn't believe how many people come in asking us to fix a print that has been creased after being rolled. Some people just are not careful man. Good artists who care about their work sandwich the print between cardboard and then mail it.

I am pretty sure that once you purchase it you don't have to listen to their requests...

Ha, very true. Can't wait to get it in a frame. I think it's gonna go in the Baby's room eventually, with a 2012 STL Phish poster that I picked up in September!

There is an appropriate amount of Phish icons in a thread about posters.
