Going on trip soon and looking for some easy drinkin beers in cans. Has anybody in the GR area (or anywhere else in west Michigan) seen Summerfest in cans? @sierranevadabill has this even seen distro to Michigan? Along those same lines, what dates are you seeing on all day IPA cans? Looked at several places yesterday and the most recent packaged-on date was 4/11/15. If possible, I would prefer a beer like this fresher than 8 weeks old...
I bought a case of All Day about a month ago. It was 3 weeks old. Hell it might have even been 4/11. If you are in the GR area, I would think you'd find fresher, but I can't say for certain. Are there other great sessionable beers in cans available in MI?
Bill said in another thread that they were no longer canning Summerfest. That's one of my pet peeves about All-Day IPA. It's one of the hardest beers to find fresh around here and one of the reasons I rarely ever buy it anymore.
I see a fair amount of easy drinking craft cans. Twisted Helles is a very good lager. Atwater has Dirty Blonde, Grand Circus IPA, and Atwater's Lager in cans.
