Fuck those guys. They're a bunch of liars the abv is no where near what they say. I bought armeggedon and it was probably 16%.

 

Tell us how you REALLY feel.

Personally, I've never had it, but I'd give it a shot if someone offered it. Tried Colossus batch 1, and it was pretty crazy, smelled like rubbing alcohol, tasted like plums, raisins, and a very syrupy thick sweetness, with no ABV hint at all. Then again, I had Black Tuesday and it smelled awesome, but tasted like rocket fuel all the way down.

I guess tread with caution if you do...

 

It was 70 dollars for a lie. There was even an article where it was admitted the abv was falsified.

 

The article I read claims a production error on a batch and that people who filed a claim got a bottle of Snake Venom to replace it.

anything above 20% ABV loses beer taste for me..all alcohol and nothing else..just heat..even DFH 120..went from 21% to 18%...hard to make a great tasting BEER..that being the operative word..at such high ABV..IMO.

 

They are/were crooks. Nobody in Scotland will touch them with a barge pole.
Even their ordinary beers were terrible.
