Do you know why? I've only had bottles from Snipes once, their Sunnyside Pale, sixer purchased at the brewery. Every single bottle I opened was flat. I was a little annoyed, but my experience at the brewery was so pleasant that the flat sixer wasn't enough to make me write them off. So are they just gonna focus more on kegs for the time being?

They might start bottling some limited releases (barrel aged and sour) but with their tiny bottling line, it's too labor intensive and just not cost effective to deal with regular ol' six packs.

They don't make enough to bottle, from what Chad told me last week. They've got tons of labels and six-pack holders, and a bottling machine, but it's just not financially sound right now.

Speaking of, bottling of Coyote Moon resumes this Thursday 8/29/13.

The real issue with bottling is we have a 15 year old Meheen bottling line that saw differing usage between the last few brewers. I am however deadset on getting rid of our large backstock of 6-pack holders and labels to make way for a more modern packaging, and one that requires less labor time on my part. With just myself and an occasional Assistant Brewer, setting two days aside (one for labeling and one for bottling) while trying to meet draught demand seems at times an insurmountable hurdle.

After Fresh Hop though, the whole world slows down, and I frankly plan to get a lot of bottling done during the winter months. Coyote Moon, then Extra Blonde, Sunnyside Pale, Porter and finally IPA.

    Prost!

We were available in Spokane most of 2012, but our distributor for Eastern WA (Bottles of Grapes, now defunct, imagine that) only sold a few cases of bottles, and one keg that entire time to Spokane.

Spokane is definitely in our sights, but we have as of yet been unable to find a distributor for that area that will service it correctly. We welcome any suggestions from locals familiar with the scene, and we favor smaller book distributors that are hungry to sell product, not just take on brands to keep them from competing with their larger breweries.

    Any thoughts?

    Prost!

I am only casually familiar with the local distributorships and how they work so couldn't really suggest one. Maybe start by connecting with a couple local watering holes that seem to be doing it right and see who they suggest? I am not an industry guy so take that fwiw.

Two notables that seem to get the good local/regional stuff on their own terms are Pint's Alehouse and Waddell's Pub & Grill.
