Post work pre snow Pourison. Tomorrow will probably be my last of last years ANTEAD or a BCBS early in the day with something else from the stash leading to a night of High Lifes and a cranky Sunday.

I guess so. My local beer distributor was only selling by the case, but the packaging is definitely set up for 12 pack sales.

Last year the case of bottles I bought was a case box, not (2) 12 packs in a cardboard flat.

Wegmans had Nuggest Nectar for $13 a sixer...that seems about $2 overpriced IMO...bought 1 six pack anyways since I've been out of the country for the past two years but dang.

Anyways...I'll be drinking a bunch of IPA's....and probably a Java Cask this weekend.

Coincidentally, a friend of mine thought he got a growler of stonerwitch last weekend, and we figured out that they gave him a "cola" stout called nacho panther by mistake. Beer tasted like cherry Coke. Maybe the same thing happened to you?

As far as I know, Nacho Panther was on at the brew cafe, not at the fermentaria, so that'd be interesting if that was the case...

This year's retribution? If so, did you get any of the chocolate cherry or pumpkin? Thoughts on all of them?

Personally, I find regular is drinking great, really underrated BBA stout, definitely the best beer from a brewery who otherwise puts out very mediocre stuff. Liked chocolate cherry at the release event on draft, but find it way too sweet from the bottle, and love pumpkin. Really mad at myself for going 9 regular 9 chocolate cherry 6 pumpkin and wished I had swapped the choc. cherry for pumpkins in hindsight

Seems like MA might sneak away from this one with just a few inches.

But ill be swinging by trillium tomorrow to snag a DDH Scaled to drink during the game sunday! I havent been buying much beer lately which has been leading me to dip into the cellar. Might crack my 2014 black note.

Sending out prayers to all of those in the DC/MD area. Heard people were alll over the roads after an inch...

Nice. I also went with NN. I got cans though.

My cans were 4/6pqcks in those closed up boxes like victory vital.

I paid $46.99 for a case, which divided by 4 is $11.74. So you probably ain't gonna see a $11 six pack.

Yep. I paid 12.99 at Weis. Which seems about right considering it was 12.79 last year and 12.49 iirc, the year before that

I picked up a growler of Kane Citra. About to head outside soon with my shovel and Cafe y churro in hand. Maybe open a Christmas morning after that.

IMO $46.99 for a case is overpriced as well. I'm not saying what I should expect to see, I'm simply saying what I saw and what I paid.

    Overpriced.

Also...as I mentioned previously...I've been out of the country the past few years, and I like Troegs....but $13 for a six pack of NN is reaching IMO. Good beer though, I'll buy 1 six pack and that's it.

I don't really agree with that. It's a great beer and up until the past few years it was one of the most anticipated releases each year. I still love the beer. Compared to say sculpin which is $60ish a case NN is a steal and a superior beer.

When has Nugget been cheaper? I've never found it for less than 50 a case since I started drinking it (4 years ago).

Well based on http://www.usinflationcalculator.com/ it says that $38.99 in 2008 dollars would be $42.92 in 2015 dollars.

So they are above of the simple inflation of the US dollar. But who knows about inflation of raw materials, etc. for the brewing industry.
