Its my understanding they are trying to brew it again, but hitting a bump in the road due to some issue with blujacket brewing (1/3 of the collab)...that beer is really special too..

Had a Snowed In while in the line to get Muy Bonita bottles. That might be my favorite Funky Buddha beer...the stuff is amazing! And I don't know if this guy I talked to in line was full of it or not (he seemed in the know, but don't we all?) - he told me they plan to do a bottle release of Snowed In and it will be the next one they do! I hope that ends up happening

The imperial member oy bottle (like veruca was last year) is rumored to be a BA last snow...not snowed in, but last snow in a barrel. Just a rumor for now tho..

a few words from the lonely waxer......

Barrel Aged Snowed In will be a bottle this year for sure. Not sure the format of the bottle release, but we will announce with at least a month notice.

SPC will definitely be brewed and most likely be bottled later this year. We will make enough for at least Circleo's consumption.

There is no snag in brewing Snack Attack again. It just hasn't happened yet. If we could brew 50 times with CCB and Bluejacket we would, those guys are awesome. We might all be a tad gun shy because of how expensive that one was to brew! Besides, if I get a chance to brew with them again, I want to do something different.

Sorry Ryan, I know I mention it every time I talk to you, or on twitter and Facebook! I love me some SPC. Coming down in 3 weeks to imbibe myself in Oakland Park for a few days, can't wait.

    Ryan,

Is the BA Snowed Inn the same as what you called Snow Day at the MBCP release?

If it turns out I imagined this, it will prove how much beer I had that day lol !!!

Sounds like I'm going to need to start looking for some hotel reservations for that one! Snowed in is by far my favorite release so far from Funky, I find myself driving around on a moments notice anytime a local drinking hole has it on tap.

Things we've learned in this thread:

BA Snowed In would/will be a gigantic hit
Snack Attack, while awesome, was an expensive beer to brew.
HopZilla and BlumBeer met each other.
I tend to repeat myself, far too much, when the subject is Funky Buddha beer. Hey, I get excited, I can't help it.

Jeez...totally whiffed on that one, jive! And I can't edit my post now.

In other news, if you come back to this thread, Ryan, how is the bottling line coming along?

I want to say we called the BA version of Snowed in, "Snow day." Turns out that New Belgium already has that name. We may just call it BA Snowed In if we can't think of anything clever.

    to answer some other questions....

There were more bottles that weren't waxed than were bottles that were. Therefore, they are more rare and also taste better.

Bottling line is about to be shipped. My brother is in Italy as we speak checking it out, before it ships out.
