Snozzberry Day - May 1st

The real question is, what time will one have to show up to get bottles? I'd imagine camping out won't be beyond some individuals.

 

This whole Sunday afternoon thing baffles me...people are more than likely going to make a weekend out of this and camp out overnight Saturday night...will be interesting to say the least.

I'm glad I don't like sours. Oh and it's dropping into the 20s this weekend, so dress warm for a night sitting on a sidewalk. I've done it , but summer time. Hopes its a good bottle share.

 

Calm down guys, we're not even a day after the announcement and people have already convinced themselves that they'll be required to camp overnight in freezing temperatures to get bottles. It's speculation like this that feeds the hype and makes people get there earlier than they otherwise might.

 

Give the current state of trade gouging and beer hoarding, I'd be shocked if this event isn't absolutely insane and the wait to get bottles isn't hours long. Too many people convinced if they get it they can trade it for many times $4$, so they'll reason that the wait is worth it.

 

While I agree with everything you said, there's a pretty big difference between a wait that's "hours long" and spending the previous night in line. I'm not saying some people won't do that probably, but I guess it would just surprise me if so many people did it that it was required. I guess a lot depends on how many bottles of it they have, but hopefully the low limit will it allow more people to get it than just the overnighters.

 

That's my hope too... Unless people just go mule crazy. It's a sad state of things.

 

Anyone spending a night on the sidewalk this weekend is in for a long wait, given that the release isn't for 3 weeks.
