I wasn't sure. I was hung up at work that day and couldn't make it. I heard prior to the release that some were getting distribution but now I am hearing what you just stated. It was sitting around forever last year all around town, word is out people! Dammit!

Yep. I couldn't make it either and was hoping like hell it at least saw the same distro as Bootsy, but it doesn't seem like that's going to be the case.

So, it seems like they either produced a lot less than last year and/or Bootsy this year, or they are holding some back for a second release this year? Hypothetical of course...I have no fundamental basis in that statement other than just hopeful thinking. You really never know. Like Omega Point was supposed to be brewery only and then every decent shop in the state got some last week.

they mentioned in a now deleted post on facebook that their snozzberry yield was significantly lower than expected.

None left for distro from what I heard as well. They pulled what they had to go to distro during the release so everyone at the release could at least get a bottle is what I was told by one of the Green Man guys.

It will be interesting to see when the next batch of it comes out. I'm sure it will be a while, but hopefully not as long as the time between this one and the first batch of Snozz (which was like a year and a half if I remember correctly).

Maybe they will do another release to christen the grand opening of the new facility.

The release party took them a bit by surprise, I went back the next day and talked to two of their brewers. They weren't expecting as big a turn out.

So they just randomly announced that Demon Dweller is on sale at the brewery. Wondering if this is the new standard for releases or they just didn't think it has enough hype to draw a larger crowd for a stand alone release.

Which is a totally ridiculous excuse in my opinion. You don't expect a large turn out on St. Patricks Day (A known drinking holiday) with a double beer release? Please! And yeah, they just randomly dropped a Demon Dweller release today, like its going to be released today in like...oh yeah...right now! They make great beer but the way they are operating their program lately is getting really annoying for people who work normal hours. Unless you are unemployed and rich, retired or work some random schedule its hard to make these middle of the day mid week releases! Just my opinion, if those guys follow these threads they need to be more organized and respectful of their customer base.

You seem to rant and complain about almost anything. It's all getting kind of played out. Let them release their beers they way they see fit and if you can't make the release you could always trade for the beer. Life will continue on without a hitch.

Grabbed a bottle of The Demon Dweller last year for $20 and it's one of those worst craft beers IMO.

Demon Dweller isn't hugely sought after. It sat after distro for a good while last year.

That's because last year's was infected from what I heard.

You heard correctly. Had the 2015 on draft yesterday and it is amazing. Such a great BB stout. The one I had from last year didn't last long before it met the drain.

The bottle I had didn't taste infected. Tasted like a poorly executed beer.
