They are priced in the same range as Pretty Things. I don't find them pricey for what you get. Blaecorn was a very good ~12% imp. stout that sold for ~$10. I'll take that all day.

I've got two bottles of Clown Shoes; vampire slayer and chocolate sombrero. I opened the sombrero last night and was instantly thrown off by the not so great smell. When I tasted it though, it was quite good. The chocolate didn't have an over empowering and artificial flavoring, it was well balanced. If you can manage to not inhale through your nose while drinking, it's excellent.

How can you love Vampire Slayer but hate Storm King? I thought VS was a fairly hoppy stout. Not as hoppy as Stormy, but still a damn hoppy and tasty stout.

I loved Vampire Slayer too (I also love Storm King) along with Hoppy Feet. I thought Muffin Top and Supa Hero were average at best.

I've yet to have anything from Clown Shoes that I'd buy again, though Hoppy Feet 1.5 was the ONLY black IPA I've ever enjoyed.
