I brewed the HBTs Zombie Dust Clone, opened the fermentor tonight and it smells divine!

yeah, i measured in grams. not sure how much 4 tablespoons would equal, but yeah, that's a crapload.
since mine was done with Nelson Sauvin, i wanted the salt to be minimal and not overpowering. mine's a gose in spirit and in grain bill, but its not saline.
i also cut the corriander down. i used 0.4 oz of toasted, crushed coriander. i think most recipes call for 1 oz.

Brewed the "Thunderstruck" Pumpkin Ale recipe from homebrewtalk. Ran out of gas with 5 minutes left in the boil :grimacing:. I think it will be ok though.
Oh, also used a yeast starter for the first time.
Going to mess around with spices in the fermenter and extract in the bottling bucket to try to fill out a request for "Pumpkin roll beer."

I am undertaking my first attempt at homebrewing this weekend. I will be starting with a honey nut brown ale extract kit! I can't wait! I know the first batch may not be perfect but I am still looking forward to learning a lot so that I can apply what little knowledge I have to my next batch! Happy Brewing!

Brewed a Strong Golden of sorts. German Vienna, 2 pounds local honey. Magnum, glacier, ultra, crystal hops. Wyeast Trappist blend (new VSS release, has Brett). 1.087. Should be a good one.

Thats all I know them as.. Cider was just something that was cloudier, and had more proteins and particular in there..

I avoid using it non filtered, as it really makes it a bitch to clear up, IMO.

I'm not much of a cider brewer, so I'm not positive which the best direction is to take however, I just agree that growing for something so... limited, seems odd mostly.

Plan on brewing a Rye IPA tomorrow and am pumped. Really needed a day off and this will be a good way to spend it.

I guess winemakers shouldn't grow a lot of grapes for blending in small amounts, either. Petite Verdot, you're done!!

Transferring my split batch ESB, pitched on WLP002 and WLP007, to kegs.
Then I'll brew a batch of Oatmeal Stout, split it and pitch slurry from each of the above as well.
Thinking Friday night if all works out well.

I want to brew this weekend, I am just not inspired to brew. Both of my taps are fairly full (pink saison and punk'toberfect). I've got another batch of brett saison that is half bottled/half kegged, so it is not as if my pipeline is empty.

I have a group brew day planned for later this month, and I have to brew something to donate to an event next month. So it is not as if I will not have a chance to brew again in the near future.

I have a munch of yeast at home, some hops, and some specialty grains. So it is not as if this brew day would break the bank or anything (I am so cheap).

Like I said, I am just not inspired to do it. I am hoping that reading a thread like this for some suggestions may help.

Oh, I even have a good buddy who is brewing a barleywine on Saturday, and he offered to give me his second runnings if I wanted them.

Going to bottle a Milk Stout with Cranberry Extract. Hoping that it'll be good for an after dinner beer for Thanksgiving.

This is the first weekend in almost 2 months I won't be brewing or kegging something. Now it's time to start emptying kegs. I'll have 5 or 6 taps flowing at Oktoberfest in the backyard Saturday.
