So Narwhal in NYC & LI Never Happened?

    I read on another thread that SN wasn't bringing Narwhal to NY this year. I believe a SN employee chimed in. Bigfoot and Hoptimum are their other 4-pack seasonals, so with Bigfoot already out there I think we missed out in 2012.

    Narwal did make it to Hoboken, I think I might even have seen some last week in one of the stores.

    On another thread somebody mentioned that the north NJ distributor couldn't handle Narwhal due to timing/interruptions due to Sandy- something similar must have happened with the NYC/LI region.

    I was able to snag some in Rockland County, so that may have been as close as it got.

    Narwhal was in Northern NJ. Springfield had it up until last week.

    Got to enjoy it on tap last week in Ithaca. No bottles to be seen. Too bad. I'd love to be able to sample it on occasion throughout 2013. Great freaking beer.

    So what you're telling me is I can unload the 4 cases worth of Narwhal I have in the city? Oh what a prospect! If you see someone on the east hudson line with a bunch of cases of beer, Say hi!

    Because its 50 miles from the top of the state, which is 160 miles long(?)... I live north of Springfield, do not acknowledge the existence of a "Central Jersey", and happily accept Springfield as part of the north..

    I guess the question in regards to Narwhal is: does Kohler Distributors consider it part of North NJ?:wink:

    This was resolved and the brewery in Brooklyn renamed themselves...

    I still never found bottles, but try some on draft - it was good stuff. luckily my buddy had a friend send him 2 4 packs and he gave me one of them

    Anything above the Driscoll Bridge is Northern NJ IMO

    edit: Also lemme know the next time you're in Hoboken. We needs to have a beer.

    I'm pretty sure I saw it at Sparrow in Hoboken just last week sitting on the shelf (the location on Washington St).
