So when is Hopslam hitting??

I have a buddy that's working up in Detroit this week - will it hit distro in that area at all any time soon? Any idea when we can expect it here in Ohio?

 

Eight glasses into the mini keg and this is a foam-making machine. In the past, most Bell's mini's usually settle down after the first glass, but this one won't let up. Definitely takes a lot of the carbonation from the beer by the time the head's down. Disappointing.

 

Curious about the prices of the cans and the mini kegs this year. Anyone purchase either yet?

Hopslam is still available for sale at the general store right now back in stock

 

Just picked up a case and there are about 2 pallets left at General Store. The Hardings off West Main in Kalamazoo is supposed to get another shipment this week.

 

I'm thinking of making a road trip to Kzoothid weekend. Hopefully the Gen Store will have it Sat/Sun.

 

Tons of it around Ann Arbor today. I just grabbed a sixer over lunch that was canned 1/14. Mmmm mmm.

 

Did you let it settle in the fridge for a few days or crack it as soon as it was cold?

 

Which store? Ann Arbor is hit or miss except Plum Market from my experience.

 

You found Hopslam on January 9th? Were they in bottles?

 

It's all over Grand Rapids but can't see it lasting more than a couple days at each store after they get their delivery.

 

Any idea if (or when) Wisconsin can expect a shipment? Thanks

 

Any metro Detroit sightings today? I suspect not until tomorrow (Wednesday).

 

Plum is actually where I'm mostly talking about, but Wine Seller had some today. I think they are out now.

I imagine anywhere that gets a Tuesday delivery from their distributor has it in stock today.

 

Plum had it at "couple case" limit today. Picked up a case at $74. It's drinking well!

Purchased cold (and kept cold) on Saturday. We cracked it open on Sunday afternoon. It settled down about halfway through, but the carbonation of the remaining beer wasn't near the level that the cans had. We also filled multiple glasses each time it was opened. Was this the same problem that the 2015 Oberon mini kegs had?

 

Apparently lots of sightings in metro Detroit Costco as well.

 

Ive never had a problem with the mini kegs but I give them several days to a week to settle down. Thats just my method though.
