So when is Hopslam hitting??

I've never seen Hopslam in any east side Costco. What ones are you referring to?

 

Went to the one in Auburn Hills last night. Long gone. Empty. Was like $14.69/6 pack. Then went to Costco in Madison Heights and Bloomfield. They didnt have it yet. Why do I get this feeling Party Stores are buying this all out? Monday....all the Meijers should have it I was told.

 

Distributors should be getting shipments this week, it was on shelves 1-19-15 so I'm assuming late this week.

 

Unfortunately, this wouldn't surprise me. I got pissed at my wife over the Hop Slam she bought for me last year from a local gouger. He even bragged to her that he stocked his floor from the Meijer up the road....

I didn't personally see any at a Costco, but several reports of it on Facebook. And apparently per above it was at Auburn Hills.

 

Drink fresh usually means drink sooner than later. Sure, these were canned last week, but that should've been enough time to settle. I have a second mini keg. I'll let you know how that one goes.

 

Meijers had it yesterday.

 

Lol. 2 weeks in the fridge is still fresh. Its not the time in can its the time from when they were loaded on a pallet, put on a truck, unloaded, put out for sales, purchased, driven home, carried inside, put it in the fridge. After all of than movement you need to let it settle. YMMV

 

Which Meijer?

 

I went to 2 Meijer stores today, nothing. Champanes released it today, one six pack limit. In years past I bought cases to split among my buddies. Such is craft beer now.

 

Must be west side of MI.

 

All Over Ann Arbor. Kroger on Wash has it, seen at a few bars now. I believe i saw it at the liquor store on pack/stadium.

 

It's tasting markedly better to me than the past two years. Got one sixer, must go find another.

 

Any Macomb sitings yet? About to put on the hunting gear to go hunting for some Hopslam, just hoping I'm not to late to the game.

 

It's been sighted in northern Michigan, Petoskey area today. Plenty available at the store in town that I frequent.

 

Really? I easily got some today. Easiest in years for me.

I was going to go to the general store this weekend, so I just called there. They said it's all gone and they aren't expecting any more.

 

I work across the street from Champanes - got there at 10 AM sharp - picked up my 1 six pack. Guy there told me they put it out at 9:45 AM - all 60 6-packs were gone by 10:50 AM - so in 1 hour - 15 cases gone. Went to the the Costco by Lakesides on a whim - stock guys asks me - looking for Hopslam? Yup. Came and went yesterday - had about 40 cases - gone in 1 hour. 1 frickin hour. I mean WTF? This is out of hand. I like the idea of Costco and Meijers having it but they need to put limits on ths stuff so Joe Jackass local corner store Liquor Store doesn't buy the places up and slap $20+/6 pack price tags on them.
