Davidson's had Speedway, Horny Devil, Wee Heavy, Anvil ESB, X Pale Ale, Nut Brown, and IPA. They also had Pliny and Temptation. Going to be a good weekend.

For those on the Northside, Mondo Vino has it. Picked up a speedway and horny devil yesterday.

Looks like I missed all of this with weather shenanigans. Is it all gone or did stores get a fair amount?

Lukas had a bunch on Friday...I'd give them a try.

I swung by after Zwanze and picked some up from Lukas, still plenty on the shelves as of Saturday afternoon.

In the north east a couple of years ago, it was running $13 for the 750ml.
    What're the gouging out here?

It's the same here. I'm not really sure why $13 is seen as too much for one of the top stouts in the world. I mean if it was limited in its release we'd all be willing to drop $20+ but because it's an easily accessible beer we're upset about $13? If I remember right I paid less for it in CA but I'm not going to complain about $13. There's many beers in the price range or higher that I'd complain about first.

    $13 for a 750 of a real good stout @ 11%ABV ... It's a deal to me.
As a comparison, I checked a couple of my MA stores and they're selling it for $15 now. So I'll take $13

It was $13.99; if it's great, then I'm alright with it, but if I'd rather have a chocolate yeti, then I'll be disappointed. It's pretty up there for a non-barrel aged beer, imo.

If anyone is still looking, Mile High had most of the AleSmith offerings tonight (the Colorado offerings, anyway)...I did not see Speedway.

Not trying to overhype Speedway Stout, but it's definitely better than Chocolate Yeti imo. And the ratings back that up too. Speedway's avg. rating is 4.42 (98 overall) and Chocolate Yeti is 4.21 (94 overall). I'd be shocked if you're disappointed but I guess different people have different tastes. Cheers!

remember that they are different bottle sizes as well, a 750ml is 25.36 oz vs 22

wipes out half the difference in price

LotsOfLupulin is correct! We definitely have it here at Liquor Mart! However, I also know that LotsOfLupulin is a beer newb. #straighttroll

in case an earlier post about grabbing the last IPA off the shelf at Argonaut has created any confusion, I have bought it 2x since that date including last night when all of these were on the (warm) shelf: Speedway, Horny Devil, Wee Heavy, Anvil ESB, X Pale Ale, Nut Brown, and IPA. Clearly they have bunches of it and just re-stock the shelf when they run low.

IIRC ESB and X were 5.99, IPA was 6.99, and Speedway was 12.99. I'm pretty sure Nut Brown was 5.99 but didn't check the other two; just bouight 2 IPAs and a Speedway. (plus a Sofie 750 at IIRC $8.39, hard not to drink just Sofie at that price for 25.2 oz. That's 3 250 ml pours in my little Delirium Tremens taster, at about $2.75 apiece)
