Does a lettuce caterpillar in my salad at a mexican restaurant count? I wasn’t sure if it was the type you could eat.

I think the kitchen takes the "stone" in Firestone a bit too literally.

Also, I heard Greg Koch is sueing them for serving stones in their menu.

    I'm lame.

I found a whole wasp in my Wheaties once. Just about to put the spoonful in my mouth when I happened to look up from the newspaper (remember them?) I was reading and saw that critter nestled among the flakes.

25+ year vegetarian here. I've bit on a rock in my chili once, so hang in there. They comped the meal when I pointed it out to them.

I will let you know when I have a chance to visit them! I just discovered these yesterday through a link on the OC Brewer's Guild website.

I hope all the places with outdoor dining has heat lamps in place for this next wave of Covid. It’s getting cold out there.

Honestly, I hope people just stay home already. The numbers are definitely not trending in the right direction.

Looks like they might not be open much longer in the Southern Region. Current projection is that the Southern Region could drop under 15% as early as Friday which would mean things shutdown on Sunday. Maybe it's a few days later but we will be back to pickup only for 3 weeks within probably the next week.

Going to be far rougher than the initial shutdown considering there aren't PPP loans this time, and a lot of places have been investing their precious revenue in amenities to make outdoor dining/drinking viable. I suspect most people saw it coming considering how numbers were trending, but that doesn't make it any easier.

Support your local favorites to whatever extent you can, they're going to need it.

Belching Beaver Ocean Beach announced they will not be renewing their lease at the OB location. Another one closing shop.

Yeah, no outside space is impossible to keep open these days. Hope they find a better spot down that way.

Probably on nobody's radar here, but Timeless Pints in Long Beach is closing.
