I wish I could. I recently tried their beers for the first time and was blown away. Definitely hitting them up on my next trip south.

Well that sold out fast. Are all brewery Anniversary's now ticketed events?

It goes on sale the 15th.

Without a beer list I'm not sure. I don't care too much for t shirts. 1 beer included that'll be an easy $70 day.

That was a pain point for me too. Not to mention banging the day after.

If the food is good and plentiful then it will be worth it. I'm still on the fence myself.

I have plenty of "free" shirts I never wear already, and I won't pay that price for one beer and some food.

Exactamente. One frickin' beer? One frickin' beer included for a brewery anniversary event? It borders on the bizarre.

I'm not being asked to buy tickets to Alchemy's 1st Anny. I'm here for the beer. As much as I love Societe brews, I'll take a pass on this one.

Fifty for one glass, food and a special t-shirt. Maybe do away with the t-shirt and give three glasses and keep the glass. They should give you the option to buy the shirt if you want. I already bought both of their growlers there at twenty five each. Thats fifty total. I will pass on this one. Thank you very much. But still one of San Diego's finest brewery's for sure. Societe rocks!!!

Have to think they will break out some sours for the first time. Only thing that would justify the price.

Yeah, I'll happen to be in SD that weekend, but not sure the price is justified . . .

If they are doing them properly, it'll take close to a year. They've been open for...a year. I'm guessing we'll see their sours within the next 3-5 months. They might have been waiting for fruit season to hit too (i.e. now through October) so they can fruit some of their sours for 2-4 months before bottling them. That would be cool.

Remember the first couple Port anniversary parties? $10 for like 8 tasters (4oz) and a TON of (REALLY GOOD) food. Those good old days are gone.

After the recent Rip Current party, this offering just makes me kind of sad. I'm passing on this, even though I was excited for it originally. One beer and a t-shirt I don't want doesn't come close to justifying the cost for me. Would have likely gone if it was a special glass and another pour or two.

I have a feeling that there is more here than meets the eye.
