Hm you may be right actually. For some reason I was thinking it was $18 after taxes. Been awhile since I've bought Wings though, so my bad!

 

Yeah, I just checked. Picked up two 6-packs of OTWOA a couple weeks ago for $39.58.

Smooth release at the brewery, and the beer is expectedly awesome! I bet the hotel release tomorrow will be a great time.

I grabbed an extra 6er in case anyone who didn't get one might want to trade (I assume people are going to want to trade for this?).

 

Dropped by DC Brau today for some Solar Abyss and the release went very smoothly as William said above. By far my favorite DC Brau beer to date. It's dangerous how easy drinking they made this 10% abv beer be!!!

 

Excellent Beer and as others said very smooth release. Got their at 1:30, no outside line, had tasters and was out of there by a little after 2:00.

 

Liked the express line for quick credit card transactions just for Solar Abyss. Having the 3rd line to handle the release in addition to the regular growler/can sales helped. I was in and out quick to just get some Solar Abyss.

 

I was in and out quickly as well, until I got slightly trapped in the parking lot. that said, solar abyss is great.

 

I wish I could get into the city, but I can't this weekend. Is there anyone that would be willing to give up one can for 2 bottles of Voodoo Good Vibes?

Did this sell out, or do they still have 6ers available? Thinking about heading over there today.

 

They had pallets of the stuff. I cannot imagine they sold out yesterday.

 

Are anyone's cans leaking? I grabbed a case today and it seems like 2 of the cans have a busted bottom so beer is coming out.

 

No leaking of the cases I got...very smooth release, very dangerous drinker at 10%...I prefer this over OTWOA...

600 cases total, some will go to distribution too...

 

I've made my way through most of my first 6 and had no issues. The second 6 in the fridge appears to be just fine.

I'd call tomorrow and check when you can drop by and show them. When I've gone by there outside of regular growler hours they've been good to work with you, particularly if you call ahead. I would bet they would help resolve without much trouble. For a $20 6 pack, it is worth it.

 

Man, soo good. As others said, in at 3:30, grabbed two 6 packs and a taster and was out of there in 15 minutes. #onedayold
