I, like so many others, also missed the release this past weekend and am looking to see if anyone would be interested in setting up a trade. Pm me and we can discuss further!

 

Does anybody else think that light wavy yellow writing on top of a white grid pattern looks like an optical illusion? After trying to read that shit three times I gave up and just assumed I was drunker than I thought.

 

Great release at the brewery. Lines were a bit long at times, but not too bad. I missed grabbing some OTWOA by like 2 mins, but SA is an amazing, amazing beer.

Anyone make it to the release party yesterday?

I have some fresh Burley Oak Secret Sauce cans if anyone in DC wants to swap a couple let me know. FOMO kicking in hard right now lol

 

Shipped off a bunch of cans to CT, NJ, and NC today...have more to ship this week before the 4th.

 

That really pisses me off since it is listed as still being available, at the brewery, on their website. On the page announcing their new Wed growler hours no less. I have literally been sitting in my office waiting for 4pm so I could go get some.

 

Go snag some on tap at Meridian Pint tonight. Along with a bunch of other excellent beers.

 

Yeah, I called after seeing your first post. I told him the website said it was available and he said, "Oh, I guess we should update that."

I just don't get why they sent ALL of it out into distribution.

 

I was there at 5pm on Sunday when they were preparing to close and give any remaining cans (only looked like a few cases) to distributors.

 

They said they shipped a "few pallets". Not sure how many cases are on a pallet (60?). They did say a few stores in DC have an order in for it but didn't know if MD was getting any.

 

First can I tried was completely flat. No leakage - but there was absolutely no carbonation.

I inspected the can a bit closer and noticed that the actual seam on the can may be the cause - it doesn't seem to be of the best quality.

Second can I opened was fine however.

 

They bought a bargain canning line from what I can tell, my beer guy used to get short fills by the case from a friend at the brewery. Its gotten a little better.

 

only 600 cases total, y'all should have come down on Saturday to grab some...

 

The P Street Whole Foods has like a 40 case stack on the floor.

Wish they sold singles. I just want to give one a shot
