Great news for these guys! Love the can format. Getting tired of breweries that only sell bombers. Over the last 6 months or so I've been finding myself buying far less bombers than I used to. Keep up the good work SOB!

Hexafoos in a can. Drooling already.

I hope they make their Hefewiezen that they made last summer. It was awesome. Canned Hefe needs to happen.

I wasn't ripping the news and am genuinely excited. I just saw the opportunity to post a clip of one of the greatest acting performances of all-time.

With pipeworks finally canning, what ever happened to solemn oaths plans? Thought this was supposed to roll out last year.

Take this with a grain of salt, but a guy at Binnys told me yesterday that cans are coming soon...like september soon. Again I dont know if the guy had any connection to the brewery but seemed confident as hell about it. Either way, i now live about a mile of Solemn oath and cant get enough.

They bought one of the places across the parking lot from what I understand and that is where the canning line lives. They've had the canning line for a long time already. I remember seeing pictures of it. Wouldn't be surprised if they are coming real soon.

EDIT: Here are Binny's listings for Fun Sponge and Snaggletooth Bandana cans.

    A
nd this comes from a Tribune Article about canned local beer. Solemn Oath Brewery: The Naperville, Ill.-based brewery has plans to debut brews in cans in August, including Snaggletooth Bandana American IPA and a new Belgian-American blonde called Fun Sponge.

Great to hear! I also live a couple miles from the brewery. Love the $10 growler Tuesdays but having a six pack of snaggletooth will be so sweet!

FWIW, was in the taproom last weekend for the first time and the bartender said they were hoping to have Snaggletooth cans out by March now that they're brewing that and Butterfly year round.

I don't really know if it is much of an update here but there are all sorts of hints that the cans will be released at this years Oath Day. They fired up the new and much bigger brewhouse, running snaggletooth through it first so it looks like it is finally happening. Gonna love picking 6 packs of snaggletooth cans (no idea if they are going 6 12 oz'ers or the 4 16 oz route). Anyone else going to Oath Day? I'll be at the evening session ready to tear into a few or more brews.

Also in news of the expansion....outdoor seating is coming hopefully by end of summer via this article they tweeted out. Still working on that 3 beer limit though. Either way, exiting stuff happening for one of my favorite breweries

I'll be there for the 2nd session. It's always fun, although pulling back a beer I think turned some people away. I guess I look at it in the sense that I'll go and drop $60 on beers, maybe a shirt etc so $5 isn't going to kill me. I'm just hoping it's not going to be 95 degrees like it has been the last two years!

@WilliamN this will be my first time going, but I am pretty excited for it. As long as it is above 60 degrees Ill be happy. Went to a Sox game on May 20 last year and the high was 40...people say I should be used to that after living in Illinois my whole life but it always sucks. Do they usually roll out a solid variety of brews?

I've been the last two years. It's a very laid back event. They usually have 2-3 tap stations in addition to the normal tap room. Different beer at each with a combo of their flagships and they always roll out specialty beer. I enjoy a very chill beer event and this lives up to it. Definitely not crowded and both sessions sell out. Food is decent, although I think they're expanding options this yr.

Laid back is a reason I love Solemn oath so much @Dad_of_Rad . Glad to hear the event isn't any different. Real excited to check it out. Supposedly they are having a crawfish boil...solid
