So my brother in law calls me up and says " I know your brother and you have been home brewing...I got this huge bine of hops that will be ready soon. If you want them come out and take it all." So went out today and checked on them and they were ready....Dry paper feel, full aroma, compression test...they were ready... Full shopping bag for free.
Was able to set up a screen and box fan to get them drying.....Bout 75 degrees and minimal humidity today....with the lack of high temps applied to drying them hopefully I can keep a higher percentage of aroma and oils....
That one cone on the floor looks extremely lonely. Heck of a crop though. That;s from one bine? Do you (or he) know how old it is?
LoL...it was saved....Didn't see till the picture. Yes from one bine....This is the second year growing from what he told me....Said last year they just withered on the vine....Didn't want them to go to waste if we could use them....
Time to make an Arrogant Bastard clone! I have some freeze dried homegrown chinooks from last season to use up real soon and that's the recipe I'm going with. Hope whatever you make turns out great though
