how is that cubic bottle even supposed to work?

Why not just try a bottle shape that's more similar to a "stubby" instead of a longneck? I mean, it's not as efficient as that bottle, but at the same time it's more convenient to drink from, more efficient than longnecks. Or better yet, just switch to cans.

the stereo 6-pack idea looks kinda cool though.

I feel like that square heineken bottle will be exclusive to the trashy euro nightclub I'm envisioning in my head where all the furniture is too "modern" to even use and the bartender is simply a loop of performance art on a tv in black and white.

I think Heineken was looking to maximize light exposure with that bottle, thereby dominating the market for skunky beer (well, more than they already do)

Yeah, because it's the packaging that's affecting their sales. What about the shit beer inside?

Just read the Heineken blurb about the cube bottle. Designed by a French designer. No wonder.

Yes, I recognize this stereotype about french people being bad at art. Fuck the lourve.

Jokes aside, I'd be more likely to agree with "No wonder" if it was a Japanese designer :stuck_out_tongue:

This US brewing icon figured at least one Frenchman knew something about beer.

I'll be impressed when they design a bottle shaped like a tesseract. Re: the bottled designs ref.'ed in OP- Yawn.
