I am heading to the Sonoma Valley area in November, I know the focus will be wine, but I would like to know if there is anything worth searching out while I am in the region. Thanks for your help!

    Edit: Russian River (smacks forehead)

If you end up wining in Napa, Fieldwork is worth the stop

Hey all, just got confirmation that our rental is in Guerneville, CA. Any recommendations for taprooms/bottleshops in that area, or do the previous recommendations stand? Thanks again all!

I love Stumptown Brewing in Guerneville. Solid beer, decent food, full bar and amazing patio. Right on the river. Head to Korbel Winery, taste bubbly in the tasting room, then step over to the deli for a delicious sandwich and a full line up of Russian River beer on tap.

For food, head into Occidental for some great options or to Graton for an outstanding time at Underwood.

Nearby Sebastopol has a couple of breweries with Woodfour and Crooked Goat and a great beer spot known as HopMonk.
