I'm not sure what i have in my hands but figure i'd throw it out there and ask from some feedback from pros. I'm willing to write it off but just curious what others think. Was a trade for caps (wait beer gets involved) last October. Sent out my end but never received anything back. When contacted, he apologized and said he would send it out. I jokingly asked for a beer (rare to me) since he said he would make it up and he agreed. In January, he even reiterated that he promised he would have something sent to me yet here we are and nothing yet. I'm only out about 10$ so it's not a big thing but it's more for the principle that he promised to send something and i never received anything. What do you guys think?
Sorry to hear about this OP. Only $10 or not, it's a dick move IMO. Over 6 months running and still nothing? That is excessive. One is only as good as their word and this person did not come through with what they said they would. I hope it works out for you.
Agreed on pinciple absolutely. Poor form. Suggest you continue contacting him and, potentially, outing him here so noone else ends up the same boat. Separately, let me know what the beer is (BM if you want) and I'll get one for you (if possible) when we meet up in a few weeks.
I saw this post and thought.. ohh, crap! But then I remembered you telling me you got mine, and then i read the rest of the post... Agreed. Doesn't matter if its a 2$ trade or a $100 trade. Not carrying out on a trade you agree to is pretty poor form.
