Heading out to MA and CT for work early next week (monday and tuesday, maybe wednesday) any CT BA's that give me some tips on where to locate SOS in the the hartford area? Thanks ahead of time!
this is from their site.. "Lawson’s Finest Sip of Sunshine IPA is now available in Connecticut! Lawson’s Finest is distributed by Hartford Distributors, Inc. (HDI) in Hartford, Litchfield, Middlesex, New London, Tolland, Windham counties, and Star Distributing in Fairfield and New Haven counties." id give a call to either of them. I fish in ct every week this time of year so ill be looking for it myself
SOS is pretty tough to find, it goes as soon as they stock it. I usually call around before i go looking, check Harvest in Hartford, M&R in Manchester and Harrys in Vernon, to name a few. Alot of places will limit it to 2 cans or a 4pack at most. Also if you want a sure bet on good beer i would head up to Monson MA and hit Tree house. They have been canning and everything they have is world class. Check out their website, they update it frequently with what they have. Good luck!
Unfortunately, the most recent batch of SoS (canned on 3/20) dropped this week in Hartford/Tolland County and will almost certainly be long gone by Monday/Tuesday of next week.
I live like 1000 feet from a packie that I pop into several times a week and I am limited to 2 cans whenever it drops. It's absurdly hard to find unless you get lucky or know someone. That said, depending on where in CT you will be, you can probably find it on tap somewhere.

Harvest is the spot. Been making rounds there, didn't feel like I had the face value to ask about SOS. Maybe next time.
If you call the distributor they're probably not going to be able to help. If it came out last week, it'll probably be gone this week. You're better off seeing if someone could find some now and hold on to it for you. Not sure if there is even any left, it came out in Fairfield/New Haven early last week, and won't be out for another couple of weeks.
Is SoS available regularly, or is it seasonal? I've read differing responses on the topic, so I thought I'd try to get answers here. Thanks for any insight.
Package stores currently only get a case or two so it goes quickly, even with the usual two can limit. Beermenus.com currently lists a number of bars where it is allegedly being poured near where I live (central CT). I would call first though. I was told by the manager of a local beer bar that production of SOS by Two Roads will be increasing. I subsequently met a guy from Two Roads, who when asked about it essentially said that he knew the answer to my question but wasn't allowed to answer. I found this response hopeful.
Comes out pretty much every two weeks. This past time was a three week gap. Prior to that it was two weeks everytime since CT distribution started in December.
