Sosus Distribution

I have an extra, if anyone in des Moines misses it and wants to work something out let me know.

 

I wonder if they have adopted the Surly distribution technique. "Age" it several weeks before getting it to the people!!
Either way, it will be fresher than any Todd that I have bought this year.

Sosus hit Milwuakee yesterday. I know Rays sold out in a few hours.

 

I didn't think KS was sold anywhere except the tap room...at least that was the case for the last three releases (July '15, Dec '15 and Feb '16)

 

My guy at the shop said Tuesday and as everyone else has said on here: Limited.

 

So basically they will have sat on the beer for two weeks? I miss the self distro days.

 

I will preface this with I don't have any direct inside knowledge, but from everything I've heard/read it seems pretty safe to assume that TG just sent bottles to J Bros yesterday or today. J Bros has absolutely no reason to sit on product that is going to sell as soon as they drop it off, especially a limited release that they likely won't be getting again any time soon. TG on the other hand makes more money selling it direct at the taproom and probably wanted to make sure they didn't run out through the weekend. TG still self distributes in Wisconsin and bottles just started showing up there yesterday. In the past I've seen bombers and cans get turned around in a day or two by J Bros with Pompeii and Sue.

 

Your prob right, just frustrated as the drop day seems to be getting pushed back.

 

I don't mind sharing since it was on Beer Menus thus public knowledge: Milwaukee Public Market wine shop had a case and a half of Sosus today + a 4 pack of Pseudo and Dorothy cans. Not sure what the totals are now but that's what it was early evening

 

Ding ding ding we have a wiener. Only makes sense to see what you can sell yourself before selling the rest to Jbros.

 

Also, if it's that big of a deal drive to Decorah. You won't regret it

 

It's not that the drive is that big a deal, especially when you can get a growler of Scorpius Morchella at the same time. My issue is that work right now is insane...no way I can take an afternoon off and I'm booked solid evenings and weekends. I guess I could skip one of my kids events or my band practice but....no.

 

A little bird told me.. Sometimes next week a small amount might hit the market... in MN..

Rep told my store IA/WI nothing for here in MN yet. so doesn't look good
