I know a BA that got 2 at 9am.

 

I have a feeling we're going to see a lot of tickets on the secondary market. Festival tickets are turning into a shitshow just like beer on ebay

 

I managed to snag two, but I had work off today and got burned last year, so I was ready and waiting. Remember though, because ticket alternative temporarily holds tickets in peoples' carts, you might try again in the next ten minutes or so to see if any open up.

 

I got 2, sounds like KnownFactor got 2 as well.

Just realized I'm doing the Elephant Rock 60-mile century in the morning of the fest. Ugg.

 

I got 2, but sounds like I got lucky. After last year's fiasco, I knew they'd sell out quick, but didn't realize they'd be gone in under 2 minutes! Crazy. They really need to make this a 2-session event like the Strong Ale Fest.

Sounds like last year it was capped at 450 people... that's not many tickets at all.

Yeah those tickets went super quick! Out of three of my friends only two of us were able to get through at nine. Since this is a smaller and more intimate festival, I really hope that people in Boulder who cannot go will practice good beer advocacy and re-sell their tickets for outrageous prices. Come one, it's Boulder people!

 

I think that there were about 225 people sitting on right at 9:00 so they were sold out with the first wave of people who connected. I literally hit submit to go to that screen where you enter random numbers at 9:00. It timed out once, I backed up, got to the verification screen, typed in the letter/numbers (this was about 9:03) and then got the screen "no tickets are available that meet your request." Crazy!

That'd be me. I basically woke up, made coffee, and started refreshing my browser at 8. Bought them at 9 on the dot. Beer advocacy is starting to become a (second) full time job :/.

 

absolutely love this idea. i'm gonna just through a sour fest in my garage. could drink some great stuff at home.

Same here. I was going to do a pre party at my house the saturday before, but I guess itll be the main attraction. Anyone want to pool beers and put on our own sour fest? We could call it "You aint cool unless you missed on sour fest tickets sour fest"
