I've had heartburn with sours several times but no nausea issues. Nausea / stomach issues are quite hard to diagnosis (with me anyway). Alcohol is always the one universal consistent, but I've been way more intoxicated at times and my stomach has been fine, while other times I've been extremely nauseated / end up throwing up and only have had 2-3 beers (under 8%ABV as well). Sometimes same night, sometimes have felt fine then get a crash nausea set in the next morning out of nowhere after feeling fine. Never can truly pinpoint the culprit. Doesn't seem to correlate to hydration levels either as I've tried to hydrate all day with water on a few occasions and still got sick. Seems like alcohol plus certain spices (Old Bay seasoning either on crabs or those UTZ chips, Buffalo Wing sauce) seem to be a possible correlation when I get sick while only moderately buzzed, but not always the case. Also travel + beer seems common trend for nausea as well. Talked to Dr. about it and no true correlations have been were found. Basically I need to stay away from Buffalo wings and Old Bay while drinking beer and keep to 1 beer max per day while traveling and I'll have no issues. 2+ beers and I put my self at high risk for nausea. Quite weird I realize.

I went through a period where I was drinking a lot of sours and my palms started to get hairy and I almost went blind.
