Trying something new here guys and gals. The thread about bottle shares at bars got me thinking, and it's about time that thinking led to drinking.

Saturday, May 4th, 11am, Muddy Waters. Bring a single bottle of sour brew, the fine waitstaff will chill, open, and provide glass wear for us for a 5 dollar a bottle "corking" fee. A bargain!

The nature of the tasting, we can all taste a few fine sours and still go and have productive days.

Post if you're coming so I can give the fine folks a warning If we will be a large group. Post what you're bringing too, so we can make sure we have a wide and super sexy collection.

What am I bringing? Not sure. I'll let you know tonight

I am very interested in this. Don't have much for crazy offerings, but could bring a JP Sobrehumano, any of the Goose Island sisters, Rose de Gambrinus, Oude Tart, Liefmans Goudenband, perhaps others that are slipping my mind. Would let the host choose his preference when the time comes.

I had a 2009 to myself on Sunday for Game o' Thrones. It was a good idea, such a great beverage.

I just looked it up and it doesnt get great reviews... wtf?

Im a guezue ***** and this is one of my all time favorite. I just found it in madison, had 1 then went back and bought out the store. Its not over the top sour, has nice white fruit flavors, could be funkier but I like barn yard a lot... its my ultimate session beer...except its hard to find...and expensive...and 8%...and is better with a few years on it... damn. 4 strikes and its out!

If not marrige parfait I'd take Hanssens (my favorite), De Cam, or Golden Blend (or obviously any of the really hard to find delicious ones...der.)

Anyways, a very under rated beer I think.
