My gf is spending a few days in Seattle this week and only cares for beer that came out of a barrel. Where's the best spot(s)?

    We don't have any.

Just kidding. Holy Mountain for barrel aged stouts, saisons, sours. Fremont for stout at the moment.

With it being fresh hop season ... she chose a bad time to visit! ;-)

I was about to recommend looking at the bars Sixgill, Brouwers, Burgundian, Pine Box ... but they're mostly dominated by hoppy beer right now.

Holy Mountain had a bottle release on Friday. The sour sold out immediately. Kegs blew too.

Holy Mountain brews, in my opinion, some of the best sours in the world. At Zwanze Day, I had four Cantillons and none were as good as the HM available that day.

The Pine Box in Capitol Hill does Sour Mondays, if she's in town then.

I'm sure they'd be flattered to hear that but also quick to say you're insane.

I'll be in town on business this weekend. Holy Mountain has a bottle release Friday. Any chance any of these make it until Saturday evening?

But aside from Clarette, the other bottles might still be there.

Hart and Gray Tower are still there. Clarette sold out in ~3 hours or so, even with a lowered limit compared to Barrel #7.

We've got a fair amount of Hart left, and are getting down to the last bit of Gray Tower.
