Aside from the breweries themselves, are there other sources for these beers? Looking for 1-2 crates each. And the further south in Belgium, the better! Thanks!

Try http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/16548/ in Arlon. Click through to the site because the address may be out of date. I'd email/call ahead if looking for that kind of volume. There are probably Brussels (Bierschuur) or Leuven (ABS) options if you strike out there and are game for a further hour-plus drive.

Last time I was in Belgium I bought a 4 pack of Straffe Hendrik Quad in a Delhaize supermarket for around 6€.

I have been to the bottle shop in Arlon! Might have to see what he can get me. That is fairly close. But if I am on a beer run, another hour North into Brussels isn't that much more trouble. At Bierschuur looks like the quad is 44 EUR for 24. Some Leroy's available, but no stout.

Never been to one of those. I see on the site the 4-pack of SH. No Leroy there either.

I hear Deca mentioned at times? Is that also a supermarket?

    Thanks for the help!

Most big supermarkets carry a wide range of beers include Straffe Hendrik in both of it's most common forms: should you happen to come across some Straffe Hendrik Wild in the back of some dusty little shop somewhere my advice is snap it up!

You could also try one of the many Drankencentrales that many people use in preference to supermarkets: think drive in off licence on the scale of a small warehouse!

That sounds like http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/3464/, which has a good shop, notably mainly for De Struise sales, but it's probably another 3 hours away.

Bierschuur... don't go there. Very very high prices and they are not really friendly.

Deca is not a supermarket, it's a kind of drive-in where you can buy regular Belgian beer. But they have some Struise and they're open every day.

Nice shop not far from Namur: http://www.beerwineandcoffee.be/
Good prices and selection of Belgian beer, Struise, Alvinne, Ranke, Korenaar, Hof Ten Dormaal, 3F... (+ some regular Brewdog, Molen, Mikkeller, Anchor, Rogue...).

I've been there. Sourced from Vletern Bruin for a friend, who ended up not liking it and it is now in my possession!

I will check that one out! Thanks! I have been to a "drive-in" type beer store in Messancy. It was across the E411 from Cora, but Google isn't helping me find it.

Thanks guys! Hope to be making a run sometime soon!
