Scored a last minute GA ticket - I think. Do shirts come with all tickets or just VIP?

@cavedave! I've got some bottles stashed for afterwards, but I'm not sure what the heck I'll end up doing when the chips fall. Got the wife on board, and eventually enough is going to be enough. Looking forward to seeing you again after that cloudy Ithaca release.

You went to the fest? I probably walked right by you - had a grey nike hoodie and red cornell cap.

yup, was there with a decent-sized crew. we basically commandeered the table under the tent directly across from the Capt. Lawrence booth(s)

Did I miss Troegs, Bells, Stone, Firestone Walker, and Jolly Pumpkin, or were they not there?

from what I understood, Stone & FW "couldn't get their beers there on time," or something along those lines. no idea on the others.

They advertised them being there to include Splinter Brown. Kind of disappointed. Would have been cool if they replaced them with another brewery or something

I'm sure the logistics of getting a replacement brewery with under 1-2 weeks to go was a lot more difficult than people are thinking.

I wasn't bothered by it in the least. Why did you not like it?

I can only assume you disliked the misinformation/time changes, and then the limits not being reduced quickly enough? Apologies if I'm off.

Hopefully neither you, nor anyone else, thinks they maliciously tried to play a game of subterfuge and misdirection. It's a beer event. Run by people who drink/brew beer, and the staff are pretty much just people like you or me. Mistakes happen, you know?

I think it was misguided to have it during the fest, to stand in line for bottles during fest hours is silly IMO. Yes we took turns refilling our cups and holding spot in line but still then to have to carry them around during the fest, and one guy had them stolen. And it was a ticketed event with a set number of people the limits shouldnt of had to be reduced they couldve just been set right to begin with.

Why would I think that? Im not an unreasonable guy. I just think it couldve been done better, Im not trying to put them on blast or even whine about it(hope its not coming off as whining). Yes mistakes do happen but that doesnt make it any less disorganized to advertise one time then immediately change it.

I had no idea that CL was even doing a bottle release, I eventually saw a line and when I asked I found out. I was third in line when they ran out. Guess I'm going to have to trade for some. Otherwise I had no complaints. I had some great beers and met some great people.
